What are the fees and how do I make payment

Fees are provided at reasonable rates and will be discussed prior to booking. Please click here to view a full schedule of our fees.

Payment is processed by credit card on the day of your session.

Can I claim Medicare rebates?

Your child may be eligible for a rebate through the Chronic Disease Management CDM plan - previously the Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Program. Your GP assesses your child’s eligibility as this type of referral is for individuals with a chronic (i.e. present for more than 6 months ) and complex (i.e. requiring ongoing care from a multidisciplinary team – the GP and at least two other health care providers) medical condition. The plan provides a Medicare rebate for 5 individual sessions per calendar year.

Can I claim private health rebates?

Your child may be eligible for a rebate through your private health insurer. This will depend on your level and type of cover. It would be best to contact your private health insurer directly to determine if you are eligible for a rebate.

Please note a single appointment can only be claimed either through Medicare OR private health, but not both.

What about NDIS funding?

Smart Talking Speech Pathology is not a registered NDIS provider. We are able to assist with self-managed or plan-managed (third-party) NDIS clients.
