Jane Smart

Jane has 19 years working as a speech pathologist with children and their families. Jane is the principle speech pathologist and founded Smart Talking Speech Pathology in 2015.

She has worked in both private and public services; including community health, mainstream and specialist school settings, home based services and early intervention settings.

She assesses and provides treatment for pre-school and children who are experiencing difficulties with understanding language (receptive language), using language (expressive language), speech (articulation and phonology) phonological awareness and social communication (pragmatics). Social communication and interaction is a particular area of clinical interest. She strives to provide intervention that is evidence based and fun!

Jane is a certified practisting member of Speech Pathology Australia and is a Hanen certified speech pathologist. She is trained in Social Thinking®, PECS, Makaton, BLADES, play and literacy development.

Natalie Mepstead

Natalie has more than 20 years experience working as a Speech Pathologist with preschool and school age children.

She has has worked in early intervention services, community health services and in private practice. She is passionate about making therapy fun and working with the family to achieve their goals.

Natalie is a certified practising speech pathologist. She has specialist training in Hanen It Takes Two to Talk program, Lidcombe program for treating stuttering, Sequential Oral Feeding program and experience with working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Childhood Apraxia of Speech.

​Lisa Holmes

Lisa has more than 20 years experience working as a Speech Pathologist with children and their families. She has worked in a variety of settings including; community health, early intervention, schools, home based and in private practice. Lisa has extensive experience in the assessment and management of paediatric clients with speech, language, fluency, phonological awareness, apraxia of speech, developmental delay and social communication difficulties. Lisa works diligently to make therapy fun and engaging for the child, whilst supporting families to help achieve client goals.

Lisa is a certified practising speech pathologist. She has specialist training in Hanen It Takes Two To Talk program, Lidcombe program, BLADES, PROMPT, early language, play skills and literacy development. Lisa has a holistic approach to support the best outcomes for the child.
